Dr. Kerstin Störl and Dr. Cornelius Griep present in their documentary the exciting life of Caruca and examine, underpinned by historical photographs, the history of popular Cuban dances like Son, Mambo, Chachachá, Casino, Rumba and Salsa. Interpersonal encounters are shown through poignant scenes, colorful and fast-paced Cuban dances that occur, both in Rueda groups, individual or couple dances from selfless devotion to partner conflict.
